1930
Construction of the factory in Moscow is commenced. The first pocket watches
with the name "The First Soviet
Union Watch Factroy" are completed.
1935
Manufactoring production of pocket capacity increased to 450.000 pieces per
year. The factory is given the name "Kirov"
1937
After a period of intensive development, the production of vehicle and aircraft
clocks is commenced.
1941
The production facility is transferred to beyond the Ural mountains.
1945
Manufacturing returns to Moscow and the factory now produces under the name
"The First Moscow Watch Factory".
1947
The first wrist watches und the brand name "Pobeda" and the first
marine chronometers and deck watches are produced.
1951
The production of wrist watches increased to 1.100.000 pieces per year.
1955
The first chronograph "Strela" (Cal.3017) was produced.
1961
The first cosmonaut Juri Gagarin take on his historical flight the "Sturmanski"
watch. After this all watches produced in the factory are distributed under
the trade name "Poljot" (Flight).
1975
New maschinery and equipment for manufacturing comlex watches are imported
from Switzerland. The first chronograph "Okean" (Kal.3133) for the
space station "Sojuz-23" are produced.
1990
Production of watches and clocks reaches 5.000.000 pieces.
1991
International award "Golden Trophy for Quality XX" is awarded in
Madrid.
1992
To market and distribute "Poljot" watches throughout the rest of
the world the company "Poljot-V Ltd." is setup with its headquater
in Kahl, Germany.
1994
The first watches "Poljot-International" watches are produced together
with the range of "Basilika" chronographs.
1995
The trademark "Poljot-International" is patented worldwide. The
strategy of the company is to produce high qualitiy watches using the finest
materials to individual design at affordable prices.
1997
The gold chronograph "Nikolai II" with a partially gold plated movement
becomes famous world wide for its classical design, high quality and excellent
price.
1998
At the big watch exposition in Vienna "The Best Watch Of 1998" we
received awards in two categories.
In the category "Elegant Ladies Watch" we won 24th place before
"Chopard", "Cartier".
In the category "Mans Sport Watch" we won 28th place before "Frank
Müller, Sector", "Zenit".
1998
The first "Poljot International" watches are manufactured incorporating
the Swiss ETA movement.
1999
Important new models are introduced including a "Square Classic",
chronograph "First Cosmonaut USSR - Juri Gagarin", "Okean".
